Let’s take a look at four more restaurants in the city and Dallas suburb of Farmers Branch Texas. This wonderful place to visit has some great places to eat for sure. I’ve reviewed 8 restaurants so far in other articles, and I want to add to that list. So let’s get to those featured picks I have waiting for you.
First up is Norma’s Cafe. The location for Norma’s Cafe is 3330 Belt Line Road. The cafe is old school, and you’re talking about a meatloaf and mashed potatoes kind of place. Does that sound like a good stop to you? Let’s add homemade cream pies, a staff that is very family friendly and caters to children and delicious biscuits. Do you like grits? They have a grits and grilled pork chop plate that they serve up for breakfast, too.
That cafe sounds absolutely wonderful, don’t you think? Down home cooking is right around the corner, but then there are three more picks to mention. The next one is Bo’s Subs and Spuds. Its location is 12895 Josey Lane, and people say that the menu features a nice variety of different spuds. I used to work at a deli that served up various spuds, and they make for a really unique and interesting meal. If you’ve never tried a restaurant that features spuds on the menu with different toppings kind of like they are specialty pizzas, well, this is your chance.
Cuquita’s Restaurant is another place you can visit to get authentic Mexican cuisine. Before you order, however, you might want to know what you’re getting. Brush up on your Spanish because I see lengua tacos mentioned by a reviewer. If you don’t know that means that the meat in the tacos is cow’s tongue. According to one person, this restaurant is actually regarded by USA Today as one of the best Tex-Mex restaurants. That recognition is rather impressive, wouldn’t you say?
Well, what’s it going to be? Did any of these restaurants get you excited to the point you’re about to head on over and enjoy a meal? If you’re looking for something different, you’re definitely going to find it because Farmers Branch and the surrounding area feature so many awesome places to eat. These are just four of the best restaurants, and remember, I’ve reviewed 8 others. Have a great time dining out with your family in the rustic city of Farmers Branch, Texas.
Riding your bike to work is a great way to make your commute more fun while at the same time getting some heart-healthy exercise. In Farmers Branch, Texas, the following cycling safety tips can help prevent accidents or injuries while biking to work:
1. Always wear a helmet. You should never get on a bike without first putting on a helmet. This is especially true if you are going to be riding in traffic. Invest in a high-quality helmet that is properly fitted to your head. If you need help choosing the right helmet, visit a local sporting goods store. One of the associates can help you determine which helmet is best suited to your needs.
2. Plan your route ahead of time. Before you start bike commuting, spend a little bit of time evaluating the various routes that you could take to get to your job. Try driving each route in your car, keeping an eye out for potential safety hazards. Is the shoulder of the road wide enough? Is there a bike lane? Do you have to cross any busy roads? Is there a route that you could take that has very little traffic? By comparing all of your options, you should be able to determine which route is safest.
3. Make yourself visible. Most drivers are so focused on the road ahead of them that they may not see you cycling on the side of the road. The safest bet is to always assume that drivers can’t see you. To help overcome this problem, make yourself as visible as possible. Wear bright clothing in high-visibility colors like neon yellow. Add a headlight and tail light to your bike, as well. If you are going to be biking early in the morning or in the evening, you should also make sure that you are wearing reflective gear so that you will show up well in the glow of any headlights.
4. Always be aware of what is happening around you. Pay attention to your surroundings as you make your way down the road. Don’t just look at the area directly around you. Instead, look ahead to spot any potential problems. Staying alert is the best way to avoid accidents.
Farmers Branch, Texas is a great place for bicycle commuting. To stay safe on the road, however, you should put all of the tips that are listed above into action every time you ride.
